What do you think makes a good parent ?

I think that to be a good parent you have to be emotionally, physically, socially, and financially ready. You have to be emotionally ready by being able to cope with the fact that you're now bringing another life into this world. A life that you have to be ready to protect. You have to be physically ready by knowing your body is never going to be the same. You have to be socially ready by being able to deal with the fact that you're not going to have any private life what so ever now. You will have to devote all you're spare time to taking care of your child. Lastly you have to be financially ready by being able to support yourself and your child. You will have to have a good job, so that you can afford food, shelter, and clothing.
