How to be a good parent

To be a good parent you need to encourage your child to do the right things. The parent helps the child become a good person and follow the rules that are laid down for them to follow. Parents need to play with their children and help them build respect for others,the value of honesty and fairness. When the child does wrong the parent should discipline the child to teach them that they have done wrong. Although to be a good parent you need to make the positive and does not include hurting the child. When they don't clean up the toys tell them that if they don't clean them up they will be given away to other children who will clean up the toys. For the child to feel like they are part of the family have them do some chores around the house 0r include them in cooking. A good parent helps the child shape THEIR character and not the parents. A good parent should also help the child become ethical by teaching them responsibilty, respect, concern, trustworthiness, fairness, and citizenship. Children and parents should create a bond together that will last them a life time:)
